English family living in Kenya, Africa require a live in Native English speaking primary school teacher for the Autumn term as their local school is closed until January 2021.
The family require a teacher who can lead the design and implementation of tuition for a 5 and 7 year olds. Both children are on the British curriculum, so complete understanding of this is essential. We would require phonics, English, maths, reading, creative writing each morning, break for lunch and then project work in the afternoon. Candidates must demonstrate experience in a British school teaching years 1 and 3 for at least 3 years.
The home is fully staffed and the tutor will be hired for teaching only. The home sits on a large countryside plot with a pool. There is a driver who can drive you locally during your free time, or when you go out with the children. The family live in a gated community and a short walk away is a couple of nice cafes. You would have your own bedroom and bathroom within the home.
The family would cover travel and visa costs. There would also be plans to travel with the children around Kenya during this term, learning would continue as normal.
£800-1200 per week for the 35 hours, depending on experience.
This is very much going to be a role for someone experienced in these age groups, wanting an adventure and can work on the go!
