If you are hiring anyone in your home and they are being paid more than £116 per week you need to be registered with HMRC as an employer – even if no Tax or National Insurance is payable. This includes Au Pairs as well as live in and live out, full time and part time members of staff. TGNC has a qualified and experienced accounting team on hand who complete full HMRC paperwork to register our clients as new employers, deal with all paperwork, calls and Tax and NI payments and issue payslips. For those who qualify, we also can offer Auto Enrolment assistance for Pensions too.
